We offer:
- courses for adults and children (groups or individually)
- Various levels (beginners, intermediate, etc..)
- Intensive courses on courses for a specific purpose
- General standard Italian courses
Our free beginners test helps us to determine your level and to enable us to be sure we have the appropriate course for you.
Your courses will be run by an Italian mother tongue speaker with a experience of teaching both in Italy and teaching Italian abroad.
The courses can be arranged for individuals and groups and are also available for children to assist them in settling into the school system if you are moving to Italy. These have proved to be extremely beneficial in aiding the transition of moving country, school and having to also take on board a new culture and schooling system.
We aim to make the courses as interesting and as helpful as possible to give you the best possible learning experience and are fully aware that every person learns at their own pace and in their own way; therefore we use every form of assessment during your time with us to be sure that you are happy with your course.
This often includes practical skills, such as using your Italian in a restaurant or in a shop or whilst walking around the city, so that you use your language skills in the “real world” as apposed to a classroom setting.
This we find gives more confidence to try your language skill in the correct setting.
We also have the following event evenings and sessions to enable you to practice your new found language:
- Tourism and Holiday Italian
- City tours with a language lesson included
- Our own “Taste of Umbria & Tuscany”, which includes "Wine tasting & Wine experience tour", learn to converse about the wines of the area in Italian.
- Gastronomic and cooking trips with the associated vocabulary and conversation.
- An evening of wine and local produce tasting
- Cine-forums: Watching films in Italian and seeing how much you know!
